Large Ruffled Lemon Bowl, Yellow Majolica-Style Earthenware, Italian Provincial, c. 1990s

A big, shallow serving bowl in warm honey-yellow glaze with a wavy, ruffled rim edged in mossy green. A cluster of three sculpted lemons with deep green leaves sits on the rim, and the glaze pools softly in the well, giving it a hand-thrown, Mediterranean look. The base shows a terracotta body and three small stilt marks from firing.
