1970s Vintage Chinese Hexagonal Crackle Glaze Vase, Blue & White, 吉祥 Good Fortune

A charming hexagonal vase with an all-over ivory crackle glaze and hand-painted underglaze blue calligraphy. The characters 吉祥 (jíxiáng), meaning "auspicious" or "good fortune," are framed in a diamond reserve, with blue banding at the shoulder and foot. Two red seal-style marks accent the face, and the base carries a small hand-painted blue mark. The tight, web-like crackle gives it a soft, aged look, and the shaped six-sided form makes it a standout among traditional round vases. Perfect as a small bud vase, brush pot, or desk accent, and a natural fit for chinoiserie, Asian export, or maximalist styling.
